In Chopsticks, two players start by extending a single finger from each hand. For example, a player with three fingers on one hand and one on the other can choose to transfer and have two fingers on each hand.
Attacking in Chopsticks involves adding the value of your hand to your opponent's hand. The number of fingers on your attacking hand does not change, but your opponent's attacked hand will be the sum of your hand's value and theirs. If a player's hand sums to a value greater than 4, that hand is considered "dead" and can no longer be used to attack. However, it can be revived by transferring fingers.
The objective of the game is to win by making your opponent's hands "dead." Once your opponent has two dead hands, you emerge victorious.
